Beds n Dreams approached us to create swing tags for their luxurious Hypnos Bedding range. Hypnos Beds are heralded as ‘the most comfortable beds in the world’. The beds even come with the English Royal Family’s seal of approval as their ‘bed of choice’ (and probably for the Corgies and the odd racehorse too).

 

The brand was in need of a little updating first. Nothing like the thought of the Queen of England reclining on a bed to put you off buying one – even if you are a keen monarchist. And so we created a new elegant font stack, kerned the type properly, updated the colour palette and generated some new imagery that was fresh but still created the allusion to royalty.

 

We digitally printed the front and back of the swing tags on Spicer’s 300gsm Sirio Polar Dawn on our HP Indigo. The key elements on the front of the cards like the Hypnos and Beds n Dreams brands were then gold foiled on a Heidelberg Platen to give them that extra lift.

 

A sheet of KW Doggett’s Keaykolour Guardsman Red was then triplexed in between the front and the back and finished with a gold eyelet to prevent wear and tear from the hanging string.
